Uashmama

UASHMAMA® (pronounced: wash-mama) washable paper is made using a virgin fiber through cultivation and not deforestation.  Paper that washes like fabric holding it’s form so it can be used over and over again promoting sustainability perfect for catering and home wares.  Countless and ever new, depending on taste and trends, which do not follow any fashion, only the inspiration of its creator: Marco Marconi.

UASHMAMA is a family business based in Tuscany.

The father , Marco, is the creative mind. His long experience in the shoe factory left him a particular attention for what is handmade and Made in Italy, and a deep knowledge on new technologies.

The mother, Emanuela, is the ‘inspiration’ for the brand name; as a matter of fact, UASHMAMA is dedicated to the iconic Italian mother who washes, who takes care of her children, always.

The project began when Emanuela started to sell the first paper bags in her shop Le sorelle-UASHMAMA.

Le sorelle (The sisters) are Chiara, Giulia, Gemma and Gaia and are all involved in the family business with their parents, covering key roles.

Today UASHMAMA can count on many collaborators who, with great professionalism, are promoting the brand all around the world.
